Managing Partner: Scott Hettermann

Scott Hettermann founded SMH International Consulting in the Spring of 2012.  Scott received his law degree from the College of William and Mary and is a member of the California Bar, licensed to practice in California and Washington, D.C.  In 2007, after interning with the General Manager of an NBA team, two international athletic footwear companies and an international sports marketing firm, he started PLJ Sports.  Initially concentrating on sports agency, the all-inclusive sports management firm branched into the sports entertainment industry and international sports law, with appearances in EA Sports and Nike advertising campaigns as well as the creation of the Sports Collections Division of Bluestone International Law, which assists athletes in contractual disputes with international teams.

Scott has an undergraduate degree in business management from Washington and Lee University and went on to play professional basketball in Europe.  In 2003, while playing in Northern Ireland, he managed the regional operations of Playing for Peace, a world-wide humanitarian foundation dedicated to the promotion of unity amongst children of our divided world through sports. Hettermann's introduction into the Middle East came beginning in 2010 when he spent two years on the personal team of HE Former Prime Minister of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Al Thani.  In 2015, Hettermann started a journey as one of the first international franchisees for F45 Training.  In addition he took a development role for F45 corporate as the President of Sales for F45 Training Middle East and North Africa.  After several years, focus shifted to just that of being a franchisee and currently the portfolio has spread to owning 17 studios in 4 countries, 3 states with expansion plans ongoing.
